Economic Buzz: UK GDP Growth Slows In Q4

UK gross domestic product grew 0.4 percent quarter-on-quarter, slower than the 0.5 percent expansion seen in the preceding period, final data from the Office for National Statistics showed Thursday. The statistical office confirmed 1.4 percent annual growth for the fourth quarter. GDP growth for 2017 was revised up marginally to 1.8 percent from 1.7 percent. Nonetheless, this was slightly weaker than the 1.9 percent growth seen in 2016.
