Economic Buzz: Japan Core Machine Orders Fall 2.4% On Year

The total value of core machine orders in Japan was down 3.9% on month in March, the Cabinet Office said on Thursday. This followed a decline of 2.1% in February. On a yearly basis too, core machine orders fell 2.4% after climbing 2.4% in the previous month. For the first quarter of 2018, core machine orders were up 3.3% on quarter and 0.2% on year.
