Economic Buzz: Eurozone Factory PMI Slows To 15 Month Low In May

Eurozone manufacturing sector showed further signs of cooling in May, as initially estimated, as the factory Purchasing Managers Index fell to a 15-month low of 55.5 from 56.2 in April, final data from IHS Markit showed Friday. A reading above 50 indicates expansion in the sector. The Netherlands, Germany and Austria remained strongest performing nations, despite all three seeing their respective rates of expansion slow.
