Economic Buzz: German Factory Orders Plummet At Fastest Pace In Six Months

Germanys factory orders decreased for a second straight month in December following weak demand from abroad. Manufacturing orders decreased a calendar and seasonally adjusted 1.6% from the previous month, preliminary data from the Federal Statistical Office showed on Wednesday. The latest fall was the most since June last year. Domestic orders fell 0.6% and foreign orders dropped 2.3% in December on the previous month.
