Economic Buzz: UK BoE Inflation Expectations Eases In November

UK inflation expectations for the next 12 months and the year after eased in November, survey data from the Bank of England showed Friday. Median expectations of the rate of inflation over the coming year fell to 3.1 percent from 3.3 percent in August, the quarterly Bank of England/TNS Inflation Attitudes Survey revealed. Expected inflation for the twelve months after that eased to 2.9 percent from 3.0 percent in August. Longer term inflation expectations, which is for five years time, climbed to 3.6 percent from 3.1 percent.
